Tuesday’s Gone

by Chet

I started writing a post yesterday about how my perspective on my hometown changed as I grew up. The whole idea came about when I was bored and cruising around on the Liberty Dispatch this website is a new site that prides itself in being Liberty County’s only conservative news source. Which is the most absurd thing I’ve ever heard because most “liberals” in Liberty County are moderate conservative. (I base that most on the people I know, have met, have interacted with, read posts from, news stories, and other publications.)
For what it is thought it’s a pretty great website. It includes sections where people can post their opinions according to what city they live in. Of course I wanted to go to where I “grew up” and take a peek. The people are petty and full of bad grammar, and I’m embarrassed most days to know that these are the people I once looked up to. Granted not everyone on there is like that, there are a lot of people who try to raise general concerns but are quickly shut down by others.
I don’t like this website, it makes me feel ill. The end.

I apologize for the ranting, but after trying to write that blog in a much more eloquent and anecdotal form, and losing most of the information both times due to my browser freezing, I decided to quit and give it short and sweet.

Thanks, ChetG.
